About Olintshi
Olintshi Innovation Brokers is established by Amanda Gcabashe, a former Executive of the SABS, the largest Conformity Assessment Body on the African continent.
What is an Innovation Broker? “An innovation broker coordinates and facilitates partnerships and linkages between the stakeholders involved in the innovation system through bridging, bonding, and linking social capital”
This is a gap that Amanda Gcabashe identified in the South African Innovation landscape. With arguably some of the best policies in the world, South Africa is still struggling to achieve positive growth which is labour absorbing. Olintshi seeks to bridge the divide between policy and implementation by recruiting social partners and developing the implementation steps to move from policy through to implementation.
Olintshi Innovation Brokers specialise in supporting the practical and successful implementation of local manufacturing and supporting the development of ecosystems which support the growth of entrepreneurship.
